We've chosen this stack for a reason. Not because it's trendy, but because every piece of it has earned its place through years of production use across real products and real clients.
PHP done right. We picked it because it has strong conventions, a real ecosystem, and enough structure that multiple developers can work on the same codebase without it turning into a mess.
We write full-stack features in one language, in one file, without a React app bolted on the side. Less context-switching, fewer bugs, no separate frontend team required.
Handles dropdowns, modals, and toggles without pulling in a full JS framework. Sits alongside Livewire cleanly and stays out of the way.
Every product and client project runs off the same design system. Faster to build, easier to hand over, and output looks consistent without a dedicated designer on every ticket.
S3 for storage, SES for transactional email, SNS for notifications, CloudFront for delivery. The same setup across every product and client - nothing exotic, nothing that breaks.
Payments, subscriptions, Connect marketplaces, invoicing - all in one API. We don't build payment logic from scratch and we don't recommend platforms that make you.
Manages the server side so we're not doing it manually. Provisions, deploys, handles SSL - sits between our code and the AWS instances.
Laravel's own hosting platform. Auto-scales with traffic and supports scheduled scaling windows - so you can ramp up capacity before a known peak and scale back down after. Keeps costs low without manual intervention.
Accounting and invoicing integration. When a product needs to talk to a business's books, Xero is the cleanest path - used in Paper for financial workflows.
